The Sr. Director, Global Digital Product is responsible for configuring and leading Virtuosoโ€™s global digital platform strategy, working with internal category experts, to deliver high quality, scalable, and brand consistent digital experiences.


As a senior product leader, this role drives Virtuosoโ€™s digital transformation toward an AI and agentic enabled future, embedding intelligent capabilities into platforms, workflows, and tools that increase speed, personalization, and operational effectiveness. Customer impact is critical to achieve, and success will be measured against well-defined outcomes informed by key internal experts representing a range of customer segments and needs. This role enables teams to deliver meaningful, commercially effective digital experiences at scale with cohesive vision representative of Virtuosoโ€™s brand.


This role owns the evolution, management and performance of Virtuosoโ€™s core digital platforms, including the Content Management System (CMS), Events digital applications, UX design systems, and a community collaboration application. The Sr. Director ensures that these platforms empower teams to efficiently manage content, campaigns, experiences, and engagement across global and regional markets.


The Sr. Director partners closely with Tech/Engineering, Marketing & Content, Events, Media Product, Network Product, Data & Analytics, Training & Professional Development, and regional teams, as well as external agency resources and design partners.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Define and own the global vision, strategy, and roadmap for Virtuosoโ€™s digital solutions and platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned to business priorities.
  2. Lead the evolution of Virtuosoโ€™s CMS, Events application, UX systems, and community collaboration platform, enabling internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality digital experiences.
  3. Serve as the primary product partner to Marketing, Events, and Network Product, deeply understanding their customers, workflows, needs, and success metrics.
  4. Ensure digital solutions are designed to support global and regional requirements, including localization, translation, search optimization, and compliance requirements.
  5. Guide the future implementation of AI and agentic capabilities within the digital experience for elite-level delivery of personalized content and information discovery with operational efficiency and measured results.
  6. Establish clear product standards and governance that protect the Virtuoso brand while enabling speed and flexibility for internal teams.
  7. Partner with product teams and Data & Analytics to ensure platform decisions are data driven, measurable, and continuously optimized.
  8. Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of product managers and product/UX designers (internal and external).
  9. Foster a culture of platform thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement, balancing long-term architecture with near-term delivery.
  10. Collaborate closely with Engineering to translate platform vision into actionable delivery plans, ensuring predictable execution and high quality outcomes.
  11. Act as steward of digital best practices, ensuring consistency, usability, accessibility, and performance across all solutions.
  12. Communicate strategic priorities and progress to senior executives and cross functional stakeholders.
  13. Measure success through defined KPIs, including adoption, efficiency gains, experience quality, and business impact.
  14. Ensure all digital experiences meet security, privacy, and regulatory standards across global markets.
  15. Oversee and optimize external vendor and partner relationships supporting digital platforms.


Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Computer Science, Human-centered Design, or a related field preferred. AI/Agentic AI certifications a plus
  • 12+ years of experience leading digital products or platforms, with demonstrated ownership of strategy and execution in complex, cross functional environments
  • Proven experience building and scaling CMS platforms, internal facing tools, or enablement platforms
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI/agentic capabilities into digital platforms and workflows with an eye toward information/data integrity
  • Deep understanding of UX systems, platform architecture, and content driven digital ecosystems
  • Strong experience partnering with Engineering teams using modern, agile delivery practices
  • Proven success operating in global, multi market environments
  • Travel industry or adjacent industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce, media, and digital monetization models
  • Strategic, platform oriented thinker who balances long-term architecture with near-term business needs

Travel Requirements:
