Job description

As a key driver of growth within the Business Development team, you will take a proactive and consultative approach to expanding our footprint and achieving ambitious revenue goals across Canada. This role demands an exceptional ability to generate and qualify leads, cultivate strategic relationships, and position innovative health solutions with executive-level stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically pursue new business opportunities by actively identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value sales leads through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Respond to inbound business inquiries with precision and a client-focused approach, converting potential opportunities into actionable sales engagements.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), collaborating closely with internal teams, including client management, clinical, product, finance, and operations, to deliver winning solutions and execute compelling finalist presentations.
  • Employ a consultative selling approach to engage prospective clients, positioning our employee mental health solutions, telemedicine services, and broader health offerings to senior leadership audiences, including HR professionals, CFOs, and CEOs. 
  • Establish and foster strategic partnerships with channel collaborators such as benefits consultants, insurance providers, and third-party administrators (TPAs), leveraging these relationships to expand market reach and drive sales. 
  • Design and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, tailoring content to address the specific needs and objectives of each prospect throughout the sales cycle. 
  • Consistently achieve or exceed ambitious individual and team sales targets by prioritizing proactive engagement and leveraging strategic selling techniques. 
  • Negotiate and finalize client contracts and agreements, balancing profitability with long-term relationship-building. 
  • Forecast sales activity and pipeline metrics with accuracy, leveraging insights to inform and refine prospecting strategies. 
  • Partner closely with the Client Management team to ensure seamless client onboarding and support cross-departmental initiatives that enhance the overall client experience.Â
