Standard Job Description
Enterprise Mission Command and Control (EMC2) is seeking a Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) Sr Manager to lead the Missile Defense Solutions (MDS) submarket segment portfolio. Reporting to the EMC2 S&BD Director, the team member will lead Keep Sold and Growth efforts for highly visible and combat proven missile and space defense command and control (C2) systems, and support strategy and business development activities specific to the program.
In this dynamic role you will be responsible for the following areas:
  • Lead the pursuit, development, and execution of MDS opportunities that support the EMC2 business strategy
  • Serve as the S&BD lead for the MDS Submarket Segment P&L Director.
  • Assess the missile and space defense customer landscape and develop targeted and effective stakeholder engagement plans to qualify and advance MDS growth.
  • Assess customer capability requirements and develop compelling narratives around LM missile and space defense C2 solutions.
  • Lead the MDS business portfolio to achieve and exceed orders and sales goals
  • Lead the MDS Long Range Plan development in coordination with Finance and Business Operation.
  • Lead the development and execution of teaming and other industry partnership strategies
  • Represent EMC2 on Lockheed Martin Integrated Planning Teams, Working Groups, and campaigns that span multiple business areas
  • Lead campaign resource plan development, execution, and management across multiple sources of funding
  • Work with the LMGA team to shape and track budget activities in the DoW Acquisition process.
  • Employ critical thinking to bridge from strategy to outcomes, actions, and progress metrics
  • Advanced leadership and relationship building skills with the ability to manage a geographically dispersed organization to identify issues, drive innovation and obtain consensus, and effectively achieve business objectives
  • Continue to evolve the S&BD organization and develop leaders to support business area growth
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically (25-50%) as needed

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Missile and space domain command and control experience
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US DOW Missile Defense customer community and the Missile Defense Agency
  • Demonstrated knowledge of with Space Domain Awareness and/or Space Command and Control
  • Ability to understand and interpret customer budgets and requirements and relate them back to campaign strategies
  • Ability to interact confidently with peers, executives, and both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and motivate teams in pursuit of common objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to form and maintain successful customer relationships
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and tailor material and messages to a variety of audiences

  • Experience with Capture and Business Development
  • Existing TS/SCI clearance
  • Knowledge of the US missile and space defense mission and enabling kill chains, US missile and space defense stakeholders, adjacent stakeholder landscape, core programs, and enabling technologies
  • Familiarity with the LM Win Plan and New Business Fund budgeting and execution
  • Portfolio management of numerous critical pursuits in a large business pipeline
    Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
