Healthcare Business Development Manager (Private Pay Home Care)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Healthcare Business Development Manager to grow market share throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. This role is ideal for a true sales hunter who enjoys developing new referral relationships, expanding existing accounts, and generating revenue through strategic business development efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting private duty home care, skilled home health services, and healthcare staffing solutions to hospitals, physician practices, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living communities, nursing homes, and other healthcare referral partners.
This is a field-based role requiring daily travel throughout the assigned territory and frequent face-to-face meetings with referral sources and clients.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
  • Develop new referral sources through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and relationship-building activities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing referral partners.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct a high volume of in-person visits with referral sources and healthcare organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue across multiple service lines, including:
    • Private Duty Home Care
    • Skilled Home Health Services
    • Medical Staffing
Territory Management
  • Manage and grow an active pipeline of prospects and referral sources throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Participate in community events, networking organizations, healthcare associations, and local chambers of commerce.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events and community outreach initiatives.
Account Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned referral partners and key accounts.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and collaborate with operations leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth.
CRM & Marketing
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, referrals, leads, and outcomes within CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Track and report sales metrics, pipeline activity, and territory performance.
  • Assist with local marketing initiatives and maintain social media presence through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and company web platforms.
Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager, Director of Operations, and Regional Leadership to execute territory growth strategies.
  • Provide weekly sales reports, market intelligence, and business development updates.
  • Support planning and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives.
Required SkillsQualifications
Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales, business development, or healthcare sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license, Auto insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel daily throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
  • Proven success generating leads, developing referral relationships, and closing business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
  • Experience in home care, home health, hospice, healthcare staffing, senior living, rehabilitation, or related private pay healthcare services.
  • Established healthcare referral network within the Mobile or Baldwin County market.
  • Experience presenting to physicians, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare administrators and families.
