The Corporate Development team plays a central role in identifying and executing opportunities that accelerate Ford's strategic priorities. We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Corporate Development Manager to help evaluate, structure, and execute transactions globally across Ford's businesses. In this position...

As a Corporate Development Manager, you will help drive Ford's strategic investment and partnership activity (e.g. acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances) globally across all areas of the business.

You will work closely with team members and senior management throughout Ford to assess and execute strategic investments and partnerships.  This highly visible role offers regular interaction with Ford's executive leadership team, external advisors, investors, and emerging technology companies.

The role is suited for top performers who are willing to work hard in an unstructured environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued. 

In all aspects of the position, the Corporate Development Manager demonstrates teamwork and commitment to the success of Ford Motor Company.

You'll have...

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory Services, strategic management consulting and/or Corporate Development activities.
  • 3-5 years of experience exhibiting exceptional financial and analytical skills.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.     

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

  • Perform detailed financial analyses; creating comprehensive pro-forma financial models, valuation analyses and synergy models in support of potential transactions
  • Support due diligence efforts with target executive team, outside advisors, and internal subject matter experts
  • Create investment memorandums and related presentations for review by the Ford senior management team, including C-Level executives as well as Ford's Board of Directors
  • Actively contribute to the negotiation of transaction terms and legal documentation
  • Interface with skill teams and business units across Ford to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Create and develop creative approaches to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.
