Ansell is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in the Quebec & Atlantic Provinces region!

In this role, you will develop and execute territory sales strategies, build strong relationships with distributors and end users, identify new business opportunities, and grow existing accounts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead strategic initiatives, deliver customer value through product and market expertise, and play a key role in achieving ambitious sales and growth targets within the Life Sciences and Semiconductor markets.

What your role will be?

  • Drive territory revenue growth and achieve assigned financial targets.

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies in collaboration with Scientific Strategic Accounts, Services & Program Management, Inside Sales, Channel Partners, and Marketing teams.

  • Lead regular planning and strategy meetings with key distributor partners to align objectives and track progress on strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain and regularly update a territory business plan that serves as a roadmap for achieving sales goals.

  • Grow the territory through effective sales planning, technical expertise, and strong project management.

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.

  • Increase awareness and demand for Ansell products by leveraging market insights and delivering value through product, service, and process expertise.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end users, focusing on delivering exceptional customer value.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Job Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales and channel management, with a proven track record of success in core market segments.
  • Experience building and managing strong distributor relationships.
  • Previous sales experience within the life sciences and/or semiconductor industries, including knowledge of Health Canada-regulated, cleanroom, or controlled environments.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bilingual (French and English) verbal and written: To fulfill the responsibilities of this role, the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both French and English. The position requires ongoing interaction with colleagues, leaders, and business partners located outside Quebec, particularly in other Canadian provinces and the United States, where English is necessary for effective collaboration and business operations.ย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform is highly preferred.

  • Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate initiatives involving customers, distributors, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and drive opportunities from prospecting through closing.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently to meet or exceed performance goals.

Additional Requirements

This role will require frequent travel within the Territory and across North America. Overnight travel will vary by territory from 25-50%.

A propos des responsabilites

  • Responsable de l'atteinte des objectifs financiers assignes au territoire et de l'acceleration de la croissance.

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience dans la vente B2B, ventes de canaux et developpement d'affaires.
  • Experience dans le developpement et la gestion de projets et de comptes.
  • Experience dans la gestion des relations avec des distributeurs.
  • Experience anterieure de la vente a des segments de marche des sciences de la vie et / ou des semi-conducteurs avec une connaissance des environnements reglementes, de salles blanches ou controles par Sante Canada.

Connaissances et competences

  • Bilingue (francais et anglais) tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit: La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour ce poste en raison des interactions frequentes avec des collegues, des gestionnaires et des partenaires d'affaires situes a l'exterieur du Quebec, notamment ailleurs au Canada et aux Etats-Unis, ou l'anglais est la langue de travail utilisee pour les communications et la collaboration.
