Southcentral Foundation is expanding our Human Resources team and is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to help shape the future of our workforce. Senior HR Manager I: $120,910.40 to $165,228.27

Senior HR Manager II: $138,424.00 to $189,176.00

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing the day-to-day performance and operations of the employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, backgrounds and credentialing functions within the Human Resources Department. The Senior Human Resources Manager interprets company policy and objectives and develops plans necessary to achieve objectives.

This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.

Qualifications: 

SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services: 

1. Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years professional HR experience or experience at Manager Level II; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 

2. Professional human resources certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), or ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire.  

Additional Qualifications for Senior Human Resources Manager II: Meets all requirements of Senior Human Resources Manager I in addition to the following: 

1. Demonstrated proficiency as a Senior Human Resources Manager I at SCF.
