About the Job
As a Senior Demo Platform Engineer, you will design and operate a scalable demo environment platform across cloud infrastructure and application layers. You'll partner with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate demo requirements into repeatable, automated environments complete with realistic configuration, seeded datasets, and guardrails that support rapid iteration without sacrificing reliability.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate a standardized demo platform for provisioning and maintaining demo environments at scale
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation for environment creation, updates, resets, and teardown
  • Build CI/CD workflows that keep demo environments aligned with release trains, configurations, and feature flags
  • Create and maintain "golden" demo templates (reference deployments), including realistic configuration and safe, reusable seed data
  • Improve reliability and user experience for field teams through observability, alerting, runbooks, and self-service tooling
  • Implement access controls and security best practices for demo environments, including secrets handling and auditability as needed
  • Partner with Sales Engineering and Product to support demo use cases, reduce friction, and accelerate time-to-demo
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across the stack (infra, networking, app config, data), acting as escalation point for complex demo platform problems
  • Develop metrics and dashboards for demo health (availability, provisioning times, failure rates, usage) and drive continuous improvement

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure) and automation at scale
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or equivalent)
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and environment lifecycle management
  • Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or equivalent) to automate platform workflows and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting internal customers (e.g., SEs, field teams) with production-grade reliability and clear operational processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building self-service platforms (portals, CLI tools, templates) for environment provisioning
  • Familiarity with feature flagging, configuration management, and managing multi-tenant demo environments
  • Experience managing test data generation, sanitization, and refresh processes
  • Experience operating environments with compliance or security constraints

Benefits
  • Medical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships)
  • Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental life
  • Voluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance
  • 401K (Roth/Traditional)
  • A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc)
  • Above market annual bonuses
