Job description

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager on the Wolters Kluwer Health Division, you will drive strategic initiatives targeting high-growth segments, including Life Sciences, Digital Health, and Consulting organizations. This role focuses on developing innovative data and analytics-driven products that address the complex needs of these markets. By identifying industry pain points, market opportunities, and emerging healthcare trends, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare through insights and technology solutions.

This individual will lead primary and secondary research, competitive analysis, concept development, and early business case creation for new products that support the product strategy. Success requires strong analytical capabilities, a risk-management mindset, business acumen, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while working cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and subject matter experts.

This is a high-profile role with significant exposure to senior leadership and direct impact on the company's strategic direction in the Life Sciences space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of product strategy by providing market insights, research, and cross-functional input to advance growth in Life Sciences, Financial, and consulting segments.
  • Execute product development by collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the design, development, and launch of innovative solutions including managing product backlog, developing product requirements, user stories and report mockups
  • Conduct and Document and quantitative research to identify platform-level requirements, data gaps, and technical opportunities that inform the evolution of data and analytics capabilities.
  • Product Concept Development: Translate insights into viable product concepts, wireframes, and prototypes that optimize customer and user experiences.
  • Strategic Roadmap Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and develop a robust innovation roadmap that drives business growth, which serving as product owner
  • Manage product backlog - story writing, acceptance criteria, report mockups, new data fields needed.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Lead customer interviews, focus groups, and strategic discussions with key stakeholders to validate concepts and shape solutions.
  • Pilot & Prototype Development: Partner with engineering and design teams to create and test early-stage product solutions with customers, ensuring alignment with industry workflows and regulatory considerations.
  • Business Case & Commercial Strategy: Contribute to forecasting, pricing, and positioning strategies for new product concepts, ensuring market fit and financial viability.

Other Duties

  • Lead/Facilitate/Participate in all relevant meetings as needed.
  • Participate in all corporate training, company initiatives, and performance planning exercises.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of technology product management experience
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Experience with Lean Innovation
  • Health software or data analytics experience preferred

Compensation:

$102,600.00 - $179,250.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
