Senior Data Analyst
Contract Length: 6-12 months plus potential extension
Location: Dallas, Texas - (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Our client requires a Senior Data Analyst to investigate data anomalies, support data management initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, DBA, ETL, and Data Management). This role involves analyzing data across various environments (Data Warehouse, ODS, ETL), supporting data transformations, and contributing to Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions. A strong SQL background, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential.
This is a long-term opportunity that offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and provides significant potential for career growth and advancement.
Specific qualifications/requirements:
  • 5+ years as a data analyst with SQL experience in OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data environments
  • 2+ years of experience writing medium to complex SQL stored procedures
  • Strong SQL querying and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with Oracle databases is required, including SQL and PL/SQL development
  • Familiarity with data movement (ETL, Replication) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MongoDB, Exadata)
  • Experience with Data Virtualization (Denodo) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills is a must
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve data anomalies reported by business users
  • Collaborate with ETL, DBA, and Data Management teams on data transformations, movement, and derivations
  • Assist with break-fix and production validation for data replication and transformations
