Job description

Are you ready to be a big part of something big?

At Trader Interactive, we make buying and selling a great experience. We're a group of go-getters who decided they didn't want to settle for the status quo. We come together as one team to build value and drive innovation across our industries - but we have fun while we do it and make sure our people are always our #1 priority.

When it comes to your career, we want to provide big opportunities to help you make a big impact. But for this to be possible, we strive to feel small. Small enough to quickly change tack, small enough to learn from different teams and small enough to connect authentically with leadership.

What We Offer

  • An inclusive and supportive work environment where you can move your career forward and will have the chance to do work that has real, significant impact on the world.

  • The opportunity to be a part of a global group of digital marketplace businesses (CAR Group) located across Australia, Brazil, Chile and South Korea - collectively we have around 1,800 team members worldwide, and our Global Talent Exchange Program means you might just find yourself working in one of those businesses sometime soon.

  • Plenty of flexible leave options and employee benefits including up to 31 days of paid time off in your first year, continuing education with access to LinkedIn Learning, a full benefits package including medical, dental & vision, 401K with company match, and wellness program.

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can not only deliver insights, dashboards, and analysis but also help connect the data behind them. This role blends analytics with light analytics engineering, ensuring the data our teams rely on is accurate, well-structured, and accessible. You'll work across marketplace, advertising, and revenue platforms to understand user behavior, performance trends, and product outcomes. You'll also help coordinate the flow of data from source platforms into our data warehouse and reporting tools so insights are consistent and trustworthy.

  • Analyze user behavior to identify interests, predict actions, and map the path to purchase for RVs, motorcycles, boats, and commercial equipment.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI to enable self-serve insights for sales teams.

  • Work on sales attribution by combining cross-category sales data with on-site user shopping behavior to support the value of our partnerships.

  • Leverage multiple data sources to create innovative visualizations that better depict user engagement and the customer journey.

  • Help scope and coordinate data integrations from platforms into Snowflake and BI tools.

  • Work with engineering to support ELT pipeline requirements, define logic, validate incoming data, and ensure successful delivery.

  • Transform raw data into reporting-ready models (joins, mapping, standardization, QA) using SQL in our data warehouse.

  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer engagement and product performance throughout the purchase journey.

  • Develop proactive monitoring and alerting systems to identify and respond to anomalies in performance metrics such as eCPM, CTR, RPM, and viewability.

  • Analyze programmatic data, including bid streams and pricing models, to identify revenue optimization opportunities.

  • Partner with Ad Ops and Finance to reconcile delivery, billing, and performance data across platforms for reporting accuracy and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally within digital media, ad tech, marketplace, or ecommerce environments.

  • Proficiency with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Pyramid, Looker Studio, etc.) and strong SQL skills.

  • Experience analyzing user behavior, conversion funnels, and performance metrics across multiple platforms.

  • Experience working with data pipelines or integrations, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical projects.

  • Familiarity with ELT concepts, data modeling, or analytics engineering tasks.

  • Strong data storytelling skills. The ability to break down complex findings into clear, compelling recommendations.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Basic coding skills in Python, R, or a similar language to support data preparation and advanced analysis.

The expected salary range for this role is $79,000 - $90,000 CAD

So come and join our team - because every role is a big role in our plans to go big.

TI proudly supports a diverse workforce, and we encourage candidates from underrepresented groups to apply. Trader Interactive is an equal opportunity employer where hiring is based entirely on business needs, job requirements, and individual merit.
