What is the difference between Senior Crowd Compute vs Data Labeler?

AspectSenior Crowd ComputeData Labeler
Required CredentialsExperience in crowdsourcing platforms, basic technical skillsBasic computer skills, attention to detail
Work EnvironmentRemote, collaborative, project-basedRemote or on-site, task-specific
Employer & Industry UsageTech companies, AI/ML projectsAI/ML, data annotation firms
Common Search & ComparisonOften compared for roles in crowdsourcing and data annotationEntry-level data annotation roles

Senior Crowd Compute professionals oversee large-scale data collection and manage crowdsourcing projects, requiring experience with platforms and technical skills. Data Labelers perform specific annotation tasks, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail. While both roles are integral to AI/ML data pipelines, Senior Crowd Compute roles involve higher-level project management and strategic oversight, whereas Data Labelers focus on task execution.

What jobs make 10000 a month without a degree?

Senior Crowd Compute roles typically do not pay $10,000 a month without specialized skills or extensive experience. High-paying jobs that can reach this level without a degree often include sales, real estate, or entrepreneurship, but they usually require strong networks, skills, or certifications rather than formal education. Most roles with such income levels emphasize performance, expertise, or business acumen over formal degrees.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Senior Crowd Compute roles typically do not pay $2000 a day; such high daily rates are more common in specialized consulting, executive positions, or freelance work in fields like software development, finance, or consulting. These roles often require advanced skills, certifications, or extensive experience, and compensation can vary based on project scope and client budgets.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

Senior Crowd Compute roles involve managing human-in-the-loop tasks that AI cannot fully automate, such as complex problem-solving, creative work, and tasks requiring nuanced judgment. Jobs that require emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and adaptability are more likely to persist alongside AI advancements. Skills in overseeing AI systems and understanding data annotation also provide job security in this field.

What kind of job is good for a 60 year old?

A senior crowd compute role involves managing and coordinating online tasks that can often be performed remotely and with flexible hours, making it suitable for older workers. Such jobs typically require basic computer skills and attention to detail, and they can provide a steady income without physical strain. Experience and reliability are valued in these roles, which often do not require extensive physical activity or rapid pace.

Job description

Join the NVIDIA Developer Tools team and empower engineers throughout the world developing groundbreaking products in Automotive, VR, Gaming, Deep Learning, and High Performance Computing. See your efforts in action as developers use your products to debug, profile and analyze the performance of their systems/applications. Watch with satisfaction as 3rd-party developers use the debug API that you helped develop to create custom debug tools to tackle complex customer debugging problems. Innovate as you develop the debug and performance analysis capability of future generations of NVIDIA GPUs. Be a part of the team that brings new GPU technologies to market with sophisticated simulation/emulation systems and be among the first to breathe life into new silicon.

We are looking for a senior software engineer to join our efforts to advance our compute debugger products to the next level. The position will be part of a dynamic, worldwide team that develops and maintains and enhances a portfolio of debug tools and libraries that are hosted and targeting OSes including Windows, Linux, and other embedded system real time OSes (RTOS).

What you'll be doing:

You will apply your knowledge of debuggers, binary instrumentation and computer architecture to enhance existing compute debugger tools and libraries, and extend them to new use cases. You should be comfortable working in C, C++, Python and assembly on a wide range of supported platforms: Windows, Linux, and embedded real time OSes. You should also be comfortable interacting with different development teams, and have an eagerness to learn about new compute and graphics drivers, GPU architectures and operating systems. You will:

  • Architect, design, and implement solutions to integrate new debugger features into existing NVIDIA developer tools products.

  • Collaborate closely with research, libraries, and product teams at NVIDIA to identify debugger features that can effectively improve developer productivity and efficiency.

  • Document requirements and designs, and review documents with teams throughout NVIDIA.

  • Develop the compute debugger tools for GPUs running on Linux, Windows, and embedded operating systems.

  • Effectively estimate and prioritize tasks in order to create realistic delivery schedules.

  • Provide peer reviews to other engineers, including feedback on performance, scalability and correctness.

  • Mentor junior engineers.

What we need to see:

  • 8+ years of experience

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Strong computer science fundamentals - algorithms and data structures, programming languages, parallel computing, and system software.

  • Strong programming ability in C, C++, Assembly Language and scripting languages

  • Excellent knowledge of computer architecture

  • Ability to self-manage, communicate, and adapt in a fast paced, high demand environment with changing priorities and direction

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a dynamic and distributed team.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Expert knowledge in GPU architectures and GPU programming.

  • Knowledge of CUDA programming

  • Experience and/or interests in creating developer tools like debuggers and profilers.

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related engineering fields.
