The Position:
  • We are seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to play a central role in managing customer credit risk within a dynamic, international business environment. This is a hands-on role with meaningful business impact, directly supporting profitable growth while ensuring a disciplined and forward-looking approach to risk across regions and business segments.
  • You will own a defined customer portfolio, identify emerging risks early, and actively manage exposure while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance. The role also contributes to the evolution of the credit function through process improvements and enhanced analytics and reporting, including the selective use of automation and AI-supported workflows.
  • This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capability with curiosity and a practical mindset-someone who enjoys improving how work gets done while maintaining strong ownership of daily credit and portfolio management.
  • As the organization evolves, including the integration of INEOS Aromatics, this role offers broad exposure to diverse markets and risk environments in a fast-paced setting where follow-through is essential.
  • Candidates with broader or non-traditional experience may also be considered where they demonstrate strong analytical capability, sound business judgment, and ownership mindset.

What you will do:
  • Own credit risk for an international customer portfolio, including structured risk assessments using internal and external data, with scheduled and ad hoc portfolio reviews
  • Monitor market, country, and customer trends and collaborate with regional credit teams to identify emerging risk patterns
  • Ensure accurate SAP credit data and manage credit-related order blocks (e.g., limits and overdue exposure) in coordination with Sales, including escalation of high-risk accounts as needed
  • Manage customer relationships, including higher-risk accounts, to resolve disputes and support resolution of long-standing overdue exposures through appropriate credit controls
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Logistics to balance commercial priorities with risk management
  • Drive continuous improvement in credit processes, analytics, and reporting based on frontline insights
  • Support integration of new business portfolios and evolving market exposures

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of credit risk experience in an international B2B or financial institution environment
  • Experience managing complex portfolios and making sound credit decisions in dynamic environments
  • Strong communication skills and English fluency; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German) a plus

Technical skills:
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and external data for credit assessment and commercial risk evaluation
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/BI tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI)
  • Experience using credit reporting and data visualization tools
  • Ability to interpret incomplete or ambiguous information and apply sound judgment

The annual base salary for this position typically ranges between $103,249 and $129,062. Actual compensation may vary above or below the stated range, as permitted by applicable laws.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
