The Corporate Development Analyst provides critical pre close financial analysis and post close tracking of key milestones of each acquisition integration process. The Corporate Development Analyst will provide FA support to the Corporate Development team in evaluating and executing potential acquisition, divestiture, and other business investment opportunities ("Potential Transactions"). This role ensures the efficient progression of Potential Transactions by coordinating data collection, preparing supporting documentation, and facilitating process flow.

  • Through the due diligence process, this role will scrutinize and analyze each target's financial reporting and QoE reports (if available) to ensure an accurate evaluation of each transaction and organize initial financial scenarios and projections.

  • Liaison with the Divisions/Regions to provide L9 and integration expenses for inclusion in the projection model.

  • Accurately record and update all relevant information in the team's CRM application as applicable.

  • Coordinate and maintain transaction files, ensuring all legal documentation and closing materials are organized and complete to support the transaction closing process.

  • Provide administrative support for the coordination of integration and/or divestiture activities including working with legal to run and manage KD Prevent background summaries

  • Assist with compiling and providing data input for monthly reports to Corporate and Group, quarterly reports to the Board of Directors, and other required reporting functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field or equivalent experience required.

  • 7-10 years of professional finance and/or accounting experience, with at least 5 years of professional experience in a corporate environment, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong professional presence and the ability to work effectively with senior executives.

  • High level of proficiency in Google Suite applications, with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP or CRM knowledge preferred

  • Foundational working knowledge of Airgas' strategic plans and business model to facilitate effective support of Potential Transaction analysis.

  • Fulsome understanding of Airgas financial statements and financial analysis principles.
