What We Need

The Sr Process Engineer is a high performing contributor that serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Participate on product and new process development teams, making recommendations of manufacturing feasibility and evaluating expenditures.
  • Recommend manufacturing concepts while developing and implementing suitable manufacturing processes.
  • Identify equipment allocations and unique tooling required for new product implementation.
  • Implement and coordinate revisions and improvements to tooling according to customer or product specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to implement process changes and improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed.
  • Perform high quality analysis consistently.
  • Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.
  • Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
What You Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable.
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.

  • Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor.
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
  • Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.
  • The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
