JOB SUMMARYAs the Business Performance Optimization Senior Consultant, you will partner with senior leadership, including CEO's and CFO's, to support the development of strategies to increase profitability and improve cash flow. Project work includes data analytics, financial analysis and modeling, material cost improvement, supplier management and negotiations, and category (commodity) strategy development to ensure activities are building blocks for sustainability and future success.JOB DESCRIPTION

Procurement consulting

  • Support and lead procurement transformation initiatives, including strategic sourcing, category management, supplier rationalization and contract optimization

  • Analyze client procurement processes, policies and governance models to identify improvement opportunities

  • Develop business cases, savings pipelines, and implementation roadmaps

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (finance, operations, supply chain, IT) to align procurement strategies with business objectives

  • Prepare and present findings, insights and recommendations to client leadership

Financial analysis and modeling

  • Develop and maintain 13-week cash flow models

  • Build 3-statement models that link together cleanly

  • Design scenario and sensitivity analysis

Data analysis

  • Gather, organize, and analyze data using pivot tables, BI tools, statistical analysis, graphs, etc.

  • Discover insights, draw conclusions, and present results in a simplified format

  • Synthesize data, formulate initial hypotheses, and present initial recommendations

Client presentation development

  • Build and format PowerPoint deliverables that provide data and key takeaway in a simple, clear format easy for senior business leaders to understand

  • Detailed research reports

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Will lead and supervise subordinate team members

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • Strong data analytics skills with proven experience analyzing procurement or financial data

  • Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to present critical issues to senior business leaders concisely
