Job Description:  

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager in delivering solutions to improve customer operations and to perform configuration management activities. As a member of the L3Harris team, you will work alongside various cross-functional teams to manage requirements, update the configuration management (CM) tool, perform software builds and update the build and deploy tool (Jenkins) and update/develop procedures to ensure the mission critical readiness of projects. If you have a background of script development, that us a plus. As a CM Specialist, you will collaborate with teams to ensure best practices are followed.

Essential Functions: 

  • Review the CMDB for software, site and hardware updates.
  • Move software records through the baseline process.
  • Support updates for the CMDB (javascript development).
  • Account setup and management in the CMDB.
  • Update/create new Jenkins build jobs.
  • Assist with updates to hardware records.
  • Familiarity with requirements tools.
  • Provide data for metrics reporting.
  • Develop documentation for new procedures, training plans and reports.
  • Leverage DevOps concepts and best practices to support the program.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 10%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of the SDLC Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with EIA-649
  • CMMI or similar certification.
