Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Senior Configuration Manager for an exciting opportunity. This is a fully remote position.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Senior Configuration Management Specialist serves as a lead to a team of configuration management specialists. This project works with the SAP PLATFORM Portfolio which requires continued support for Configuration Management (CM); Systems Engineering (SE); Project Management (PM); Lifecycle Program Support Services; and IT Audit support services, to include remediation of IT findings, preventing IT findings,

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Demonstrated experience and ability to provide configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements.
  • Ability to facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
  • Ability to maintain allocated, functional and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support. Able to review all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
  • Maintains configuration control records and technical documents. Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
  • Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.
  • Implement and maintain automated Configuration Management tools and databases to provide real-time dashboards, metrics, and tracking for system changes, test statuses, and customer requirements.
  • Capture all functional and technical requirements, integrating into final design documentation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

  • Direct experience developing and implementing CM functions within SAP environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of configuration management specialists.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

  • Five (5) years relevant experience.

Minimum Clearance

  • Candidate must possess at least a Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation (Moderate Risk/Non Critical Sensitive / IT-II)

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
