Job Description

Position           : Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Location          : Alpharetta GA Onsite

Duration         : 12 months contract

Required:

  • 2–7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and process modeling.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and system testing practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, WMS, or custom business applications. 

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience working with SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of API integrations and data flow design.
  • Scrum Master, or Agile certifications. 

Mandatory:

  • Business Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, Agile Methodologies. 

Desired Skills:

  • Business Analyst, ERP, WMS functional knowledge. 

Responsibilities:

  • The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify business needs, analyze processes, and design solutions that enhance systems and drive operational efficiency.
  • Gathering requirements, translating them into functional specifications, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring successful implementation of technology solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and system requirements.
  • Conduct detailed business and system analysis, including current-state and future-state process mapping.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization.

System Enhancement & Implementation:

  • Support design, configuration, and testing of new system features or enhancements.
  • Lead and participate in system testing phases (UAT, SIT, regression testing) to validate solutions.
  • Partner with IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional groups to ensure timely and successful delivery of system releases and projects.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as liaison between business users, technical teams, and leadership to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Participate in planning, prioritization, and execution of system-related projects.
  • Provide status updates, documentation, and project reporting as needed.

Documentation & Training:

  • Create and maintain system documentation including requirements, process flows, test cases, and training materials.
  • Conduct training and end-user support to ensure proper adoption of system changes.
  • Support change management activities to ensure smooth transition to new processes or systems.
