Job description

SR Technologies, Inc. is looking to bring a competent and organized Tier 2 technician onboard the team. Servicing small to medium business, our team manages many technology-related aspects of business for our clients from network infrastructure to SaaS deployments. This is a fast-paced position at times and the ability to take notes and stay organized is critical. Pay is based on experience and skills posessed.

Duties:

  • Prepare computers, servers, and networking equipment for deployment and install on-site
  • Perform on-site services, such as diagnostics, troubleshooting, or installation
  • Attend meetings and consultations with clients
  • Equipment estimating and sales
  • Provide remote support and maintenance for clients
  • Replace and upgrade computers, servers, printers, and other hardware
  • Assess, estimate, and implement networking and computer/server equipment.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and diagnose issues with networks
  • Configure, install, and/or replace network equipment, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points, and other networking devices
  • Create and maintain documentation of client and procedural information
  • Assist in other areas of company production – such as dropping off packages, picking up equipment from vendors or customers, answering phones when needed, following up with customers, etc.

  • At least 3 years of recent on-site business IT experience
