Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to design and develop business applications and reports that provide automated solutions to specific business or end-user requirements.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide complex application solutions by identifying business requirements; researching potential solutions and identifying feasibility and compatibility with existing systems; making recommendations to meet end-user business objectives; conducting analysis and design; creating technical design and procedural documentation; and developing feature-rich code that is compliant with all department and Company policies and procedures.
  • Provides technical and operational support for the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands.
  • Assist in the installation, upgrade, maintenance, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex business system applications and supporting systems.
  • Support business applications by coordinating responses to user questions and problems; driving problem identification to root cause; and coordinating and implementing resolutions, changes, and improvements.
  • Lead efforts to increase team effectiveness by identifying and implementing best practices; identifying systems and toolsets that increase functionality, productivity, and compliance; and aligning of efforts to meet or exceed end-user or Company objectives.
  • Provide mentoring, training, technical assistance, and expert guidance to other application programmers on the use of programming tools and programming methods.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, consultants, suppliers, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in a computer-related field plus 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (or equivalent experience).
  • Expertise in middleware/iPaaS solutions, especially Boomi, with strong API integration skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL & database management, including MS SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, data warehousing, and Power Query for advanced reporting.
  • Advanced programming skills, with experience in C#, VB, and PowerShell.
  • Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to system maintenance.
  • Excellent communication & project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.
