Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 2 Days Onsite

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Programmer with 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in an architectural or technical leadership capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications across web, desktop, and cloud environments.
The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architectures, evaluating technology frameworks, designing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, mentoring senior developers, and translating business requirements into clear technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define technical architectures for web, desktop, and cloud based applications
• Design scalable enterprise solutions using modern microservices and monolithic architectural patterns
• Evaluate and select appropriate .NET, Java, programming frameworks, databases, development tools, and third party libraries
• Design cloud native strategies and solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Evaluate and implement SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions based on business and technical requirements
• Establish coding standards, security protocols, and DevOps guidelines for engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to development teams
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Mentor senior developers and provide technical knowledge transfer
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs for technical and non technical leadership
• Design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise software solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Define technical vision and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks
• Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Support development teams in resolving complex technical and architectural challenges
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of software development experience
• At least 3 years of experience in an architectural or technical lead capacity
• Strong software architecture and design experience
• Experience designing web, desktop, and cloud applications
• Strong understanding of microservices and monolithic architectures
• Experience with .NET and Java technologies
• Strong understanding of databases and database components
• Experience evaluating development frameworks, tools, libraries, and third party technologies
• Strong Microsoft Azure cloud architecture experience
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions
• Experience establishing coding standards, security practices, and DevOps guidelines
• Strong experience conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and design
Preferred Skills:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience with Azure cloud native application development
• Experience with enterprise microservices architecture
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD
• Experience with cloud security and application security standards
• Experience mentoring senior level developers
• Experience working with large scale enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of modern application development frameworks and design patterns
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
