Electronics Manufacturing & Production Operator
Circuit Card Assembly | Component Level
Canonsburg, PA
Pay Estimated: $29.70-$35.13/Hour

We are hiring a Senior Electronics Manufacturing & Production Operator in Canonsburg, PA, to perform component-level electronics manufacturing, circuit card assembly, fabrication, inspection, and production assembly in a 100% onsite defense environment. This role requires an active DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire and hands-on experience building and integrating electronic and mechanical hardware, including modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, frames, RF and multifunction cables, wire harnesses, and ribbon/strip line assemblies for RF applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform moderately complex production and manufacturing assignments ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations.
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies, including modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Build and integrate hardware for prototypes, assemblies, and large complex systems in research, production, and pre-production environments.
  • Perform component-level electronics assembly, fabrication, and inspection functions in accordance with applicable production requirements.
  • Build RF cables, multifunction cables, and wire harnesses.
  • Perform ribbon and strip line soldering to support RF performance requirements.
  • Perform advanced fabrication and component marking activities.
  • Load and configure customer and standard software on customer devices.
  • Apply statistical methods and Statistical Process Control (SPC) practices to manufacturing and production activities.
  • Support quality-focused manufacturing processes while completing assigned production tasks and project requirements.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong circuit card assembly and component-level electronics experience.
  • Experience with electronic and/or mechanical production assembly and fabrication.
  • Ability to perform advanced loading and configuration of customer and standard software on customer devices.
  • Ability to perform advanced fabrication and marking.
  • Solid knowledge of statistics and Statistical Process Control (SPC) applications.
  • Computer skills applicable to manufacturing and production operations.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Canonsburg, PA.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate (AA) degree or certification in a manufacturing-related discipline.
  • IPC 7711 certification.
  • Experience identifying opportunities to apply AI to manufacturing continuous improvement and innovation.
