Job description

Always Best Care Senior Services of Alexandria is looking for care professionals to provide in-home personal care services to our senior community in the greater Alexandria area. We are seeking experienced professionals who are caring, flexible, and always willing to learn.
Pay: $18 - $19/hr
What you'll do:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning.
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's health and behavior.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

What you'll need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Virginia resident
  • Relevant certification or license (i.e. CNA, HHA, PCA) sponsored by Virginia Board of Nursing
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or related field
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Two (2) professional references
  • Ability to pass criminal record check
