Caregiver in home Oracle Saddlebrook Oro Valley

Southern Arizona Seniors Helping Seniors

Oracle, AZ

$16 - $18/wk

Job description

Southern Arizona Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services offers companionship for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home. We’re looking to add to our team of caregivers and are searching for mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the Saddlebrook community between Oro Valley and Oracle.

Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to encourage a deep and meaningful connection.

Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer respite care and 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

What do we look for in a caregiver?

We don’t require our senior caregivers to be of a certain age or possess a particular level of experience, just a passion for helping seniors in the community continue to live independently.

Our caregivers should encompass the following traits:

  • Can relate to the aging process, helping those we serve navigate the challenges that growing older can bring

  • Enjoys helping others

  • Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community

  • Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies with a senior companion

We also have a need for licensed, experienced caregivers, such as RNs, CNAs, HHA, and LPN/LVNs.

Why join Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services?

We’ve found that our caregivers benefit just as much as those we serve through their work with Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services. This position offers a rewarding experience and the chance to foster a true friendship with an active senior, all while earning extra income. You’ll also appreciate a flexible schedule, designed to accommodate your needs.

Thoughtfully matched companions

We spend time getting to know potential caregivers throughout the interview process. It’s important that we get a feel for your background, interests, and hobbies so that we can pair you with a senior who can relate. To do this well, we’ve established a thorough interview system that includes a personality evaluation and background check.

If helping seniors in your community remain active, engaged, and empowered sounds like a job in which you’d excel, get in touch. We’d love to chat!
