Job Description: Senior Communications & Training Specialist Overview / Summary

The Senior Communications & Training Specialist will support communications, engagement, and training initiatives. This role focuses on developing internal communications, newsletters, podcasts, and training content, as well as collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training programs for diverse audiences.

This is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communication strategies and plans.
  • Develop newsletters and podcasts.
  • Lead and manage scripting and logistics for podcasts.
  • Track communication and engagement metrics.
  • Develop internal communications for Purchasing and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop internal communications for leadership.
  • Review and refine content developed by the team.
  • Contribute to corporate engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to external and public communication strategies.
  • Support the development of impactful and engaging content using storytelling.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and update training curriculum.
  • Develop and manage training content.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions and workshops for diverse audiences, both in person and virtually through Microsoft Teams.
  • Support the execution of training programs.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience with communication management and strategic planning, including developing newsletters and podcasts.
  • Experience developing and executing training programs.
  • Experience developing and managing training content.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems.
