Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility

At Lucid, we set out to introduce the most captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.

We plan to lead in this new era of luxury electric by returning to the fundamentals of great design โ€“ where every decision we make is in service of the individual and environment. Because when you are no longer bound by convention, you are free to define your own experience.

Come work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry. Beyond providing competitive salaries, weโ€™re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

The Corporate Communications Manager is a key contributor on Lucidโ€™s growing Corporate Communications team, supporting the development and execution of corporate communications initiatives that amplify the companyโ€™s vision, milestones, and leadership voice across earned, owned, and internal channels.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, this role will also work closely with the Product and Internal Communications teams, Marketing, and crossโ€‘functional partners to ensure consistent messaging, strong coordination, and highโ€‘quality execution. This is a handsโ€‘on role for a communications professional who excels at turning strategy into action, acting with urgency, and can manage details in a fastโ€‘paced, highโ€‘growth environment.

This role has the opportunity to be based in Newark, CA.; Casa Grande, AZ; or Southfield, MI.

You Will:
  • Support the development and execution of corporate communications plans for key announcements, milestones, partnerships, and initiatives, ensuring alignment across audiences, channels, and timelines.
  • Draft and edit press releases, blog posts, executive talking points, social posts, briefing materials, and other communications content in partnership with the Corporate Communications team.
  • Maintain and help coordinate corporate communications calendars, supporting alignment across earned, owned, and internal channels.
  • Partner with the broader Communications team to support media relations efforts, including news monitoring, background research, and coordination around announcements and responses.
  • Support communications for strategic partnerships and collaborations, helping ensure partner narratives align with Lucidโ€™s broader corporate positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Social, Legal, HR, External Affairs and other crossโ€‘functional teams to support accurate, consistent messaging and mediaโ€‘focused activities.
  • Identify opportunities to extend corporate narratives and thought leadership into broader cultural, lifestyle, and brandโ€‘building moments in support of Lucidโ€™s positioning.
  • Support measurement and reporting efforts by helping track coverage, campaign activity, and key metrics, and contributing to postโ€‘initiative insights and learnings.
  • Own specific projects or workstreams end to end under the guidance of senior communications leadership, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
You Bring:
  • 4 โ€“ 6 years of experience in communications, PR, or a related field, either agencyโ€‘side or inโ€‘house.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience creating content and statements for executive, media, and stakeholder audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative, fastโ€‘paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, audienceโ€‘appropriate messaging.
  • A dataโ€‘aware mindset, with experience using metrics and insights to inform communications work.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus: automotive/EV, consumer tech/electronics, software, travel, or transportation.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required or equivalent experience.
Additional Compensation and Benefits

Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucidโ€™s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
