CNC Machinist Pinewood Tool Corporation

Pinewood Tool is a low-volume, high-precision job shop, and we're hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join our first shift. You'll run CNC mills and/or lathes on short-run tooling and component work where tight tolerances and clean execution matter on every part.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership of their parts from blueprint to finished piece programming, setting up your own jobs, and inspecting your work in process.
What you'll do

  • Program using MasterCam and also at the control
  • Perform your own setups on CNC mills and/or lathes
  • Machine small-run parts and tooling from blueprints, working to GD&T
  • Hold tight tolerances and perform in-process quality inspection
  • Use hand grinders and supporting tooling as needed to finish parts to spec
  • Take ownership of your work and stand behind the result
What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of toolroom or short-run CNC machining experience
  • Comfortable programming (Mastercam and at the control)
  • Strong blueprint reading and applied GD&T knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances in a small-batch environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-minded a fit for our culture of ownership, attention to detail, continuous improvement, and teamwork
The shop and the schedule

  • First shift, 8-hour days, full-time, in person
  • Clean, air-conditioned facility
  • Fast-paced, small-team environment where your work is visible and valued
  • Salary is based on experience
