In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for the daily activities of multiple production teams including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets. 
  • Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. 
  • Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities. 
  • Coaches and mentors team members. 
  • Identifies training needs; develops and implements training plans.

Additional Responsibilities:

This position is to develop the applicant into a Manufacturing Operations Team Manager. Leadership responsibilities will be delegated as capability is demonstrated throughout the training process. They will work alongside another Team Manager for the first month to get acquainted to their area of responsibility. This position will have daily interactions with the assembly operations leader to ensure they have the accesses, tools, and knowledge they need to be successful in this role.

This position will be responsible for one of the assembly production lines within SEP or machining operations. The Team Manager will work to ensure they are leading to hit Safety, Quality, and Productivity targets. They will work cross functionally with other departments such as Safety, Quality, ME, QE, and Materials to achieve scorecard targets. Additional responsibilities include tracking and reporting their direct reports time each week.

They need to have the ability to lead hourly Union operations associates as well as the Continuous Improvement Leader in their assigned area. They would need to plan and staff their area of responsibility accordingly based on demand needs. They need to have the ability to provide feedback, recognition, and corrective action when necessary. Enforce SEP polices and procedures - Lead by example and encourage the right behaviors.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Compensation and BenefitsCompensation for this role is $8,200/month (subject to applicable withholdings), plus benefits such as health and wellness while in the returnship program.
