If you're passionate about creating visuals that inspire, educate, and tell compelling stories, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of space. Terran Orbital is looking for a highly creative Sr. Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving creative challenges, and is comfortable taking ownership of projects with minimal supervision. You'll create everything from marketing campaigns and product visualizations to proposal graphics, technical animations, launch videos, event content, and immersive 3D experiences that help communicate complex aerospace technologies. You'll work closely with Marketing, Engineering, and the Proposals team to transform highly technical information into visually engaging stories that win business, strengthen our brand, and showcase the innovation happening across Terran Orbital. We're looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and fresh ideas to the team who is constantly exploring new techniques, technologies, and creative approaches while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-impact visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, trade shows, digital advertising, presentations, proposals, executive communications, and corporate initiatives.
  • Produce cinematic-quality 3D renderings, product visualizations, animations, and motion graphics showcasing satellites, spacecraft, manufacturing capabilities, and mission concepts.
  • Develop photorealistic and stylized 3D assets using industry-leading software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers to accurately visualize technical systems and transform complex concepts into engaging graphics and animations.
  • Support the Proposal team by creating compelling proposal graphics, diagrams, infographics, illustrations, and technical visualizations that improve readability and strengthen proposal narratives.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop launch videos, product demonstrations, and customer-facing multimedia content.
  • Create content for executive presentations, investor materials, recruiting campaigns, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Storyboard and produce animated explainer videos, product showcases, and brand storytelling content.
  • Assist in developing digital experiences, AR/VR concepts, and interactive visual assets as marketing initiatives evolve.
  • Build and maintain a scalable library of reusable graphics, 3D models, templates, textures, animations, and branded creative assets.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in AI-assisted design, animation, visualization technologies, and creative software.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Take initiative, propose new ideas, and contribute creatively without requiring consistent direction.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, or creative visualization.
