Job description


We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to work with our highly motivated and innovative design, R&D and test team to qualify and enhance new STT-MRAM products. This role will apply test and product engineering skillset and sound engineering practices to qualify and support product pre-production and production activities. This position requires a strong technical knowledge of non-volatile memory products and the ability to drive projects independently.


Responsibilities:

ย ย ย ย 1.ย ย ย ย ย  Perform product qualification and product characterization.

ย ย ย ย 2.ย ย ย ย  Work with test engineers to deliver robust test programs (sort, final test, characterization, etc.).

ย ย ย ย 3.ย ย ย ย ย  Run and modify test programs.

ย  ย  4.ย ย ย ย  Perform silicon debug, failure analysis.

ย ย ย ย 5.ย ย ย ย ย  Perform ongoing production yield analysis and yield improvement.

ย ย ย ย 6.ย ย ย ย  Perform ongoing customer RMA analysis.

ย ย ย ย 7.ย ย ย ย ย  Hands on with PCB rework, cable rework, using test equipment and performing measurements.

ย ย ย ย 8.ย ย ย ย  Work with and manage outside vendors for packaging, assembly, test.

ย ย ย ย 9.ย ย ย ย  Work with and manage outside vendors for test hardware (load board, probe card, cable assembly, etc.).

ย ย ย ย 10.ย ย  Performs other product engineering duties as assigned. ย ย 


Qualifications/Experience:

ย  ย  ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Requires BS +12 or MS +10 years in Product Engineering or Design Engineering.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Previous experience in memory product engineering.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Basic understanding of CMOS circuits and process.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Proficient programming skills in C and Python.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience with data analysis packages such as JMP is required.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience with ATE, experience with Teradyne Magnum 2 is highly desirable.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  The ability to work independently as well as in teams.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Good multitasking and organizational skills.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to others.
