Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RPA Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying robotic process automation solutions using industry-leading tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to translate business process requirements into automated workflows that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop process documentation, technical design documents, and reusable automation components.
  • Build bots, workflows, and integrations across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, SharePoint, Excel, SQL databases).
  • Implement error handling, logging, and exception management in automation scripts.
  • Optimize RPA solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Maintain and support existing automations, including bug fixes, enhancements, and performance tuning.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure automation aligns with compliance and governance standards.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide post-deployment support.
  • Maintain documentation and version control for all developed processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Power Automate (Microsoft Flow), or Blue Prism.
  • Proficiency in workflow design, data manipulation, and process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of automation lifecycle - from requirement gathering to deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, APIs, and integrations.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and IT teams.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to established automation standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in RPA development or automation engineering.
  • Experience working with Excel, SharePoint, Oracle, SAP, or Salesforce data sources.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools for automation metrics (optional).
  • Familiarity with AI, OCR, and Machine Learning components within RPA frameworks.
  • Background in process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or business analysis.
  • Experience integrating automations into web portals or enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, train, and support end-users for automated workflows.
  • Ability to explain complex automation concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Criteria

  • RPA Developer Certifications (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer, Microsoft Power Automate Certification, or Blue Prism Developer).
  • Portfolio of past automation projects or workflow designs.
  • Familiarity with utility industry processes such as customer service, billing, or asset management automation.
  • Experience with document processing, OCR tools (e.g., ABBYY, Document Understanding), and API-based integrations.
