Job Title: Senior Data Quality Developer

Location: X Enterprise Drive, Quincy, MA (Hybrid — accessible by public transportation)

Job Type: Contract (W-X, Hourly)

Experience: X+ years in Java; X+ years overall data engineering/quality experience preferred

Job Overview  

Our client, a leading public healthcare organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Quality Developer to join their Enterprise Data Management & Engineering (EDME) department. This role focuses on leading and advancing Health Data Modernization initiatives by leveraging AWS Cloud, Snowflake, and other data services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders to establish best practices in data quality.

Key Responsibilities  
  • Develop data quality validations and rules using programming languages and Data Quality tools
  • Configure and use Informatica tools including EDC and Axon (business glossaries, dashboards, policies, Axon maps)
  • Collaborate with data stakeholders on data governance processes and translate requirements into Axon workflows
  • Research, develop, and implement data mastering solutions
  • Use Java and JavaScript to develop and enhance in-house applications and web tools
  • Design and develop data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau or Cognos
  • Perform data management and manipulation against large multi-terabyte data warehouses
  • Review ETL code and provide feedback on data integrity issues
  • Communicate analysis results and processes to both technical and business stakeholders
