Senior Director, Benefits

The Senior Director, Benefits isresponsible for shaping and leading CAVA's total wellbeing and benefitsstrategy to support our team members' health, financial security, and overallquality of life. This role plays a critical part in building programs thatreflect our people-first values and support CAVA's rapid growth across thecountry. You will lead the design, implementation, and administration ofbenefits programs-including medical, retirement, time-off, and wellbeinginitiatives-for both Support Center and restaurant teams. With a deepunderstanding of compliance, vendor management, and employee experience, the SeniorDirector of Wellbeing & Benefits will ensure our offerings are competitive,inclusive, and scalable. You will partner closely with People Operations,Legal, Finance, and external partners to deliver a seamless, meaningful, andhigh-impact benefits experience.

WhatYou'll Do:

Developand lead the overall benefits and wellbeing strategy in alignment with CAVA'sculture, values, and business objectives.

Overseethe design, administration, and compliance of all benefit programs, includinghealth, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), paid time off, and voluntarybenefits.

Leadthe development and expansion of wellbeing initiatives, including mentalhealth, financial wellness, and lifestyle programs that enhance team memberexperience.

Serveas the primary point of contact for benefits brokers, vendors, and third-partyadministrators to manage performance and optimize services.

Ensureall benefit plans are compliant with federal, state, and local laws, includingACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and IRS regulations.

Leadthe annual benefits renewal process, including plan design analysis, costmodeling, communications, and open enrollment execution.

Createand manage a benefits communication strategy to increase team member awarenessand understanding of total rewards offerings.

Partnerwith Payroll, People Operations, and HRIS to ensure seamless data integrationand accurate benefits administration.

Providethought leadership on benefits trends, benchmarking, and innovation to informfuture strategy.

Analyzebenefits utilization data and team member feedback to continuously improveofferings and accessibility.

Leadaudits, filings, and compliance reporting including Form 5500s,nondiscrimination testing, and required notices.

SupportDE&I efforts by ensuring benefits and wellbeing offerings are inclusive andaccessible for all team members.

Managevendor relationships, contracts, SLAs, and issue resolution to ensurehigh-quality service delivery.

Coachand develop a high-performing benefits and wellbeing team to support executionand innovation.

The Qualifications:

Education & Experience

8-10+years of experience in benefits, wellbeing, or total rewards, with at least 3-5years in a leadership role.

Deepknowledge of benefits design, administration, and compliance in a multi-stateenvironment.

Provensuccess managing wellbeing strategies and benefits programs in high-growth ormulti-unit industries such as hospitality, retail, or healthcare.

Strongexperience with benefits vendors, brokers, and HR technology platforms.

Exceptionalcommunication and project management skills, with a focus on team membereducation and engagement.

Stronganalytical and financial acumen with experience in cost modeling, benchmarking,and ROI evaluation.

Abilityto navigate complexity, build scalable processes, and adapt in a fast-pacedenvironment.

Bachelor'sdegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Health, or relatedfield preferred.

Physical Requirements:
