Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (legacy + modern) and Go.
  • Refactor, stabilize, and migrate legacy PHP codebases to modern architectures.
  • Design scalable APIs and microservices for high-availability systems.\
  • Optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL queries, schemas, and data models.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and observability across distributed services.
  • Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5+ years backend experience with PHP and/or Go.
  • Proven experience working with legacy PHP systems and leading refactoring or migration efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and database design.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with backend testing and monitoring tools.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, 
  • Background in gaming, fintech, or high-load platforms.
  • Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
