About the Role
Valnet's Automotive Group is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a multi-functional development team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. This person will work closely with the development team and leaders to develop tools supporting our automotive website projects. In this role you will work primarily on Valnet Auto's proprietary systems and tools.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for new development and maintaining all public sites to optimal performance levels
  • Developing CMS and other internal application features for Valnet Auto's multidisciplinary teams for their day to day operations
  • Play an active role in the analysis phase when defining features with the functional analysts
  • Improving, maintaining and establishing code standards in cooperation with the rest of the team
  • Maintaining performance and core web vitals for web pages
  • Maintain strong knowledge about the latest web development standards and development tools
Technical Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a back-end developer
  • Development with AI assistants
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, ClickHouse) and PHP
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript (TypeScript)
  • Experience working with high traffic websites
  • Experience with Core Web Vitals optimization
