Key responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment of current staffing levels, functions, and regional distribution to establish an accurate baseline ahead of vendor transition.

  • Identify roles, processes, or functions that depend heavily on institutional knowledge and assess the risk of knowledge loss during transition.

  • Develop a comprehensive risk assessment, including transition dependencies, decision owners, and risk mitigation strategies, and synthesize findings into staffing recommendations.

Job description

Senior Auditor - Change Management

Must be living in the following states to be considered: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Montana, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

Role Summary

The Senior Auditor, Change Management will lead the assessment and analysis effort to build a data-driven recommendation on the project management staffing required in 2027 to support our clients business continuity during the vendor transition. This role owns the audit methodology, risk framework, and final recommendation, partnering closely with a Junior Project Manager who will support data collection, coordination, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Baseline Current State: Lead the effort to quantify current staffing — how many resources are performing which functions, and where (by region/site) — to establish an accurate as-is picture ahead of transition planning.
  • Specialist Role & Institutional Knowledge Identification: Identify roles, processes, or functions that depend heavily on institutional knowledge, tenure, or specialized job experience, and assess the risk of losing that knowledge during vendor transition.
  • Systems & Tools Validation: Own the validation of connections to clients systems and tools across multiple vendors and platforms, ensuring transition plans account for all critical system dependencies.
  • SOP Audit: Lead a structured audit of Standard Operating Procedures — determining existence (Y/N) at the task level — and identify gaps that must be closed prior to or during transition.
  • Physical Asset Audit: Direct the Corrigo baseline audit of physical assets, establishing confidence levels (%) by area and region using global MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) data.
  • Risk Assessment & Decision Framework: Produce a comprehensive risk assessment identifying transition areas with high dependency or complexity. Develop a list of key decisions with named owners, and define risk mitigation strategies with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Recommendation Development: Synthesize findings from all workstreams above into a formal, evidence-based staffing recommendation for 2027, presentable to senior leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and review the work of the Junior Project Manager, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with audit standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in auditing, change management, project management, or facilities/vendor operations, ideally within a large-scale corporate real estate or facilities environment.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting operational or process audits, staffing analyses, or organizational assessments.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and vendor/outsourcing transitions.
  • Experience working with facilities management systems (e.g., Corrigo) and MEP data is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop junior team members.
