Job Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Managing Director, Arts Residencies
Location: New York City
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (Generally: 9:00am - 5:00pm)
Weekly Hours/ Week: 35
Salary: $57,000 (Non-negotiable)

About the Role
The Arts Residencies Coordinator is a highly organized, self-motivated, and creative problem-solver who supports the implementation of LEAP's arts-integrated in-school and after-school residencies across New York City schools. Working closely with the Managing Director, Arts Residencies Manager, and Senior Coordinator, this role oversees residency scheduling, planning, and program quality for a portfolio of Arts Residency Programs. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the Arts Residencies team. Success in this role requires strong time management, organizational skills, the ability to travel to school partners, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve departmental goals.
What You'll Do
Arts Residencies Program Services & Delivery:
  • Manage delivery of all Family Engagement Workshops including: outreach, fulfillment, coordination, documentation, and pay approvals
  • Create and send all TA residency and workshop fulfillment outreach via Salesforce - manage responses
  • Manage payroll reimbursements for Arts Residencies Team PT staff
  • Create all Family Engagement Workshop and After School Residency flyers, as needed
  • Manage all Salesforce assignment creations and schedule additions
  • Support Arts Residencies event attendance
  • Support Arts Residencies Manager and Senior Manager with time approvals, as needed

Arts Residencies Teaching Artist Growth & Development:
  • Coordinate and support annual TA hiring needs for the Arts Residencies Team, as needed
  • Attend and support Arts Residencies staff orientation and additional professional learning community sessions for Teaching Artists
  • Support Arts Residencies Team with TA roster review processes on a biannual basis

Arts Residencies Organizational Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations Team to track and manage Arts Residencies equipment orders
  • Strong commitment to LEAP's Mission and Culture Statement
  • Attendance to organization-wide meetings and events as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
What You'll Bring
We are seeking a candidate with prior experience teaching or working in the arts and within K-12 NYC schools. The ideal candidate will also have strong administrative skills, including the ability to manage and organize large amounts of information, maintain thorough documentation, and demonstrate keen attention to detail. We're looking for a quick learner who can work independently and take initiative, while keeping a positive attitude.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in arts education and/or arts administration (required)
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms)
  • *Not required but a plus: working knowledge and experience using Salesforce, Zoom, and Asana
  • Ability to travel within the five NYC boroughs, as needed
