Job description

Sr. Application Developer

Seeking a hands-on Application Developer to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications. Role involves technical leadership, containerization, cloud, DevSecOps, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Jenkins, OpenShift.
  • Ensure systems remain secure, stable, compliant, and up to date.
  • Act as SME and drive solution design, research, and technical decisions.
  • Improve operational areas: logging, monitoring, alerting, metrics, documentation.
  • Collaborate with multiple technical teams and support Agile/DevOps delivery.
  • Serve as an all-around technical utility resource.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years in software development/architecture roles.
  • 5+ years with Docker & Kubernetes.

Preferred

  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • OS & servers: Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, Apache, IIS, Tomcat.
  • Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl.
  • Monitoring: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Config mgmt: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, Apigee.
  • Domain experience in asset finance / leasing & lending, including:
    • OLFM (Oracle Lease and Finance Management)
    • Rapport
    • InfoLease
    • Stucky
  • Experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe).
