TheSenior Director,Analytics,isthe omnichannelaudience lead for enterprise business, responsible for providing fundraising performance for our clients. The Sr. Director works across all fundraising channels to develop reporting, analysis, insights, and tools to support our internal and external teams. The Sr. Director plays a pivotal role in collaboration with our strategy and data teams, serving as a hands-on technical and subject-matter expert responsible for ensuring development and maintenance are in line with the agency's overall goals. The successful Sr. Director must be a strategic thought leader, able to work in a fast-paced, audience-ledand data-driven environment, comfortable with a varied set of data sources and reporting tools, and able to persuasively present findings in high-level executive settings.

Your Impact:

  • Works with the VP and SVP to assume responsibility for supporting the agency's goals and our clients'programs.
  • Partners with the Strategyteam to providetimely, valuable,accuratetools to ensure they can develop and deliver onclients' roadmaps and growth goals.
  • Interfaces with other divisions within Moore and their clients as needed.
  • Interfaces with client leadership and analytical partners on advanced analytical needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provides standard, ad hoc, and custom reporting to agency clients and teams.
  • Works with internal and external partners to review and understandnewly availableclient data sets of all types, mapping them appropriately into our CXMSimioConnectdatabase.
  • Partners with leadership to ensure they have tools and reports that meet their needs.
  • As requested, presents and explains complicated concepts and results to non-technical internal and external audiences.
  • Analyzes datasetsusingPower BI,Snowflake,R,Python,Excel,andSQL, and other tools and languages as required.
  • Serves as an internal resource for technical and substantive training and questions.
  • Identifiesareas for innovation or process improvement; performs independent research; develops innovative approaches, processes, or code.
  • Stays abreast of nonprofit industry trends and research, including ways toleverageAI and predictive modeling to improve performance, anddevelopsandpresentsthese opportunities to internal and external teams.
  • Contributes to the annual budgeting process.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directs the activities of the team tomaintaineffective and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with established standards and practices and fulfillment of critical deadlines.
  • Leads the team planning and management to include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff; directing, coaching, developing, inspiring, and mentoring staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluation and review of team members; staff rewards.
  • Coordinates development and training for the team from new systems to upgrades and changes, ensuring that the team remains competent and flexible.

Your Profile:

  • 10+ years of experience as a marketing/data analyst with a non-profit organization or an agency that provides direct marketing services to non-profit organizations.
  • Proficiencywith data analysis and visualization in MS Excel, reporting platforms that sit atop multipledatabaseand non-database sources (such as Power BI).
  • Extensive experience in data manipulation and analysis using SQL variants.
  • Works comfortably with CRMs used in nonprofit fundraising, such as DMI, Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, and Raiser's Edge.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects for a small team.
  • Master's degree in mathematics, marketing, economics, management information systems, or related field preferred (oradditionalwork experience sufficient to satisfy the education requirement).
  • Experience executing analytic tasks (including but not limited to data mining, segmentation, randomized test/experiment design, forecasting, data visualization, etc.) and creating meaningful outputs.
  • Experience with direct marketing and attribution across multiple channels, including but not limited to direct mail, website, digital advertising, email, and direct response TV.
  • Fundamental understanding of relational database design and reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with fundraising metrics, file segmentationtechniquesand direct marketing strategy.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and concepts like randomized controlled trials, hypothesis testing, summary statistics, regression, and other explanatory and predictive modeling frameworks.
  • Familiarity with APIs and experience accessing and processing remote data.
  • Exceptional and persuasive written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectivelyinterface withstaff and senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a creative and resourceful problem solver; able to balance tension between partner expectations and organizational capabilities, strategies, and results, whilemaintaininghigh ethical standards.
  • Exhibits sound andaccuratejudgement; is willing and able to make well-thought out yettimelydecisions; able to explain and support those decisions;seeksadvice from others and includesappropriate personnelin decision-making process.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to think strategically and execute efficiently and effectively. Ability to advance short- and long-term projects concurrently.
