Senior Analytics Director Jobs (NOW HIRING)

As a Director of Analytics, you will lead our Embedded analytics & insights team with one of our major retail clients, delivering fast-turnaround customer analytics and higher-value strategic work, while coaching and developing the team.

How will you make an impact?

• Lead the delivery of high-volume, rapid-turnaround analytics for our client, balancing fast commercial requests with the identification and scoping of longer-horizon strategic opportunities
• Own senior-level relationships within the client's organization, building trust as an embedded partner who understands their planning cycles, constraints, and decision-making pace
• Coach and develop your team's analytical output - reviewing work, building capability, and fostering a culture of innovation
• Drive adoption of AI-led approaches within the team, using AI tools to reimagine the way the team works to speed up the question-to-decision cycle
• Translate patterns across multiple analytics requests into proposals for strategic, higher-value work with the client
• Manage delivery through Q.Checkout, balancing day-to-day throughput with the team's capacity for strategic scoping

The superpowers you'll be bringing to the team

• Proven experience delivering analytics and insights in a deadline-driven environment, balanced with the judgment to identify and scope longer-horizon strategic opportunities
• Practical, hands-on experience applying AI tools to accelerate analytics delivery - not just aware of AI capability
• Experience leading a small team
• Strong stakeholder management: building trust with a senior client team, managing competing priorities, and knowing when to push back or say no
• Previous experience being hands-on with the tools (SQL/Python and experience working directly with large-scale customer, transaction, or sales data). It's OK if you haven't written code in a while
• Ability to translate ambiguous, fast-moving requests into structured analytical approaches, and to spot patterns across requests that surface bigger strategic opportunities
• Comfortable working with large, complex data and drawing sound conclusions from it; logical, structured thinker with a strong affinity for numerical analysis
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline

• Retail, or CPG  analytics domain experience; equally, we welcome strong analytics operators from adjacent industries who can apply their expertise to the retail domain
• Experience identifying new business opportunities with an existing client and contributing to scoping or proposing expanded work
