Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers across a broad array of technologies and production volumes

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, thrives on problem solving, and collaborates closely across the company. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering.
Key job responsibilities
- Owning the delivery of Electrical products to market on time, in budget and at the targeted performance
- Scoping, managing, and delivering multiple technical projects in parallel from concept to production
- Developing and reporting performance metrics for the electrical engineering team to peers and executives
- Recruiting and developing great people; continually raises the bar
- Evaluating and driving improvements to design processes, tools, and best practices
- Maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Partnering with engineering managers, product management, and program management to drive new product development from concept to production
A day in the life
As an EE Manager, you will lead a team of electrical engineers responsible for PCB design, schematic development, and layout execution across multiple robot platforms. Your day involves reviewing designs, unblocking engineers, coordinating cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams, and driving technical decisions that keep programs on track

You will balance sustaining work on fielded products with new development for next-generation platforms.
