Job description

Title: Network Operations & Implementation

Location: Warsaw, Indiana, USA (100% On-site)

Experience Required: 12 Years | Network Operations & Implementation Team Band/Level: Level 3 (Senior Individual Contributor)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Network L3 Engineer to join our Network Operations and Implementation team supporting a large-scale, global enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on subject matter expert across Cisco Routing & Switching, Enterprise Wireless, Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, Citrix NetScaler, Men & Mice (DDI), and Azure Networking. This is a senior escalation and implementation role responsible for driving stability, resolving complex incidents, delivering change and project work, and mentoring L1/L2 engineers.

This is a 100% on-site role based in Warsaw, Indiana, requiring physical presence 5 days a week to support datacenter, campus, and manufacturing network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations (Run)

  • Act as the highest-level (L3) escalation point for complex network incidents across LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, load balancing, and DDI domains.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for P1/P2 incidents, ensuring adherence to SLAs and minimizing business impact.
  • Lead Major Incident technical bridges, coordinate with vendors (Cisco TAC, Citrix, Microsoft), and drive incidents to resolution and permanent fix.
  • Own Problem Management deliverables — RCA documentation, known-error database updates, and preventive action implementation.
  • Ensure proactive monitoring, capacity management, and health checks across the estate.

Implementation & Change (Build)

  • Design, plan, and execute network changes, migrations, and refresh projects following strict change management (Doer–Checker) governance.
  • Implement and validate configurations for new sites, datacenter fabric, campus, and manufacturing/OT network segments.
  • Prepare Method of Procedure (MOP), rollback plans, and post-implementation validation checklists.
  • Support automation and standardization initiatives; contribute to template-driven, repeatable deployments.

Governance & Mentoring

  • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles to strengthen L1/L2 capability and reduce escalations.
  • Mentor and technically guide junior engineers; conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions.
  • Ensure documentation and audit-readiness for all operational and change activities.
