You'll have the opportunity to modernize legacy platforms and contribute to our growing cloud footprint and modernization efforts. This is a chance to do meaningful work on the systems that matter, with a team that values both stability and innovation.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Windows and Linux infrastructure services across a broad range of enterprise platforms and technologies, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, and print services.
  • Manage hybrid infrastructure platforms across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, security, auditing, maintenance, patching, upgrades, performance optimization, and cost management.
  • Support AWS cloud infrastructure services, including compute, database, storage, monitoring, security, and related platform capabilities.
  • Support and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, with focus on configuration, security hardening, patching, troubleshooting, performance, and availability.
  • Use automation, programming, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices to deliver repeatable and scalable solutions for new and existing systems.
  • Develop scripts, integrations, reports, and operational workflows that connect systems, streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency
  • Plan, document, test, and execute disaster recovery processes for assigned infrastructure systems and platforms.
  • Ensure data retention, backup, and recovery capabilities align with business recovery time and recovery point objectives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and runbooks for supported infrastructure platforms.
  • Develop lifecycle plans and provide budget input for infrastructure systems, platforms, refreshes, and modernization needs.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, reliability, and availability, and recommend improvements that enhance scalability, resiliency, security, and efficiency.
  • Operate within established ITIL processes, including change, incident, problem, and request management.
  • Partner with vendors, consultants, and internal technical teams on project delivery, platform improvements, technical issue resolution, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Participate in on-support and perform after-hours work as needed to support maintenance activities, incident response, and service continuity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Experience administering virtualized environments such as VMware or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud services.
  • Experience developing scripts, automations, or infrastructure workflows using PowerShell, Python, shell scripting, or similar technologies.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure operations, including monitoring, patching, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, security hardening, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, network, security, application, vendor, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
