About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Expert Witness to provide independent, objective analysis and testimony in legal matters involving banking, lending practices, and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and prior experience serving as an expert witness or in litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze complex financial documents, transactions, and industry practices
  • Prepare detailed expert reports, opinions, and rebuttals for legal proceedings Provide deposition and courtroom testimony as required
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategy and technical arguments Interpret financial regulations, compliance standards, and industry norm
  • Assess damages, risk exposure, and fiduciary responsibilities
  • Stay current with evolving financial laws, regulations, and market practices

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in financial services (e.g., banking, compliance, or risk management)
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas
    • Banking operations and lending
    • Financial regulations and compliance
    • Electronic payments, banking, and financial technology, including processing, security, and fraud prevention
  • Prior experience serving as an expert witness or supporting litigation strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and testimony

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
