Job description

Avery Partners is seeking an experienced, motivated Assistant / Client Financial Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be more than an administrative support person and is interested in growing with the firm, taking on additional responsibility, and playing a role in scaling the business. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, highly organized, client-focused, and proactive, with the ability to work independently while supporting advisors and building strong client relationships.

Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility as needed
Experience: 3–4+ years in financial services / wealth management

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial advisors with day-to-day client service and account management.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and provide a high level of personalized service.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Prepare client documentation, reports, meeting materials, and account paperwork.
  • Assist with account opening, transfers, contributions, distributions, and other client requests.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Coordinate client meetings and assist advisors with preparation and follow-up.
  • Utilize the Schaub platform preferred to manage and support client information and workflows.
  • Help improve internal processes and identify opportunities to make the business more efficient.
  • Work closely with the advisory team as the firm continues to grow and scale.
  • Take ownership of projects and responsibilities as the role develops.



What We’re Looking For

  • 3–4+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, an RIA, or a similar environment.
  • Experience supporting financial advisors or working directly with high-net-worth clients is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Schaub platform is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, polished, and comfortable working directly with clients.
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Someone who wants to grow with a company rather than simply perform a defined set of tasks.
  • Financial licenses are not required for this position.
