Job purpose
The Assistant Solutions Advisor is responsible for driving new client acquisition for BELAY's Assistant Solutions division. This role focuses on generating, developing, and closing new business opportunities through outbound business development, strategic partnerships, networking, and relationship-driven sales activities.
This position serves as a consultative sales partner to prospective clients, helping business leaders identify operational and administrative challenges and align BELAY's Assistant Solutions offerings to support business growth and efficiency. The role requires strong relationship management skills, outbound business development experience, and the ability to manage opportunities from initial engagement through signed agreement.===
Duties and responsibilities
As a BELAY Corporate Team member, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision, and core values daily, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Business Development
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and strategic outreach efforts.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers across targeted industries, including financial advisors, RIAs, wealth management firms, and other key market segments.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and position BELAY's Assistant Solutions offerings appropriately.
  • Manage opportunities from initial outreach through qualification, proposal discussions, and signed agreement.

Partnership & Channel Development
  • Develop and maintain channel, referral, and strategic partnership relationships that support ongoing lead generation and business growth.
  • Build relationships with centers of influence and key stakeholders within targeted industries.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Growth on partnership strategies and market expansion initiatives.

Networking & Industry Engagement
  • Represent BELAY at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities, and association meetings.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships that contribute to long-term business development efforts.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and industry trends.

Industry Expertise
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the financial advisory and wealth management services industry and related market segments.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to effectively position BELAY's solutions and communicate value to prospective clients.
  • Share market insights and client feedback with internal stakeholders to support business growth and marketing initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, event follow-up activities, and market growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales to ensure a seamless transition of qualified opportunities through the sales process.
  • Partner with Talent teams to communicate evolving client needs and market trends.

Sales Operations & Reporting
  • Utilize Salesforce, Gong Engage, or similar platforms to manage pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of business development and sales activities.
  • Travel when needed within assigned territories to support networking, partnership development, client meetings, and other business activities.

Qualifications
This role requires a motivated and trustworthy self-starter with strong communication, relational and technological skills who thrives independently and on a team. Our ideal corporate team member is flexible, creative, organized, and ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
  • 3+ years of successful business development, outbound sales, partnership development, and consultative sales experience.
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking, professional services, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, and proactive business development activities.
  • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, follow through on commitments, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
