  • Work Orders: Promptly respond to and resolve daily work orders submitted by residents and department heads, maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism.

  • Building Systems: Assist with the monitoring, inspection, and light troubleshooting of facility systems, including HVAC, emergency generators, lighting, and security alarms.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute tasks on the community’s preventative maintenance calendar to maintain safety standards and extend the life of equipment.

  • Safety & Compliance: Help ensure all walkways, common areas, and exits remain clean, safe, and hazard-free; participate in fire drills, safety inspections, and inclement weather protocols (such as snow removal) as needed.

Qualifications

  • Solid, well-rounded knowledge of basic plumbing, electricity, HVAC troubleshooting, and carpentry.

  • Strong physical stamina, with the ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong interpersonal skills—patience, empathy, and excellent customer service when interacting with our elderly residents are essential.

  • Valid driver's license required.

Schedule & Availability
  • Full-time schedule.

  • Must be willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule to handle occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance emergencies.

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay and a robust benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k).

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
