JOB TITLE: Promotions & Partnerships Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communications
DIVISION: Institutional Advancement
SUPERVISOR: Director of Marketing & Communications
Please note: This position is reserved for Southeastern students or their spouses.
I. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This job exists (1) to develop, maintain, and report on marketing partnerships and sponsorships that promote Southeastern Seminary and Judson College; (2) to creatively execute strategies for targeted ads, emails, and merchandise; and (3) to collect and aggregate student experience data for marketing.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be the primary point of contact for all Southeastern Seminary and Judson College marketing partners, under the supervision of the associate director and director
  • Assist with execution of Southeastern and Judson messaging and brand awareness strategies
  • Research and suggest new merchandise, marketing ideas, partners, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist in creating and maintaining email campaigns to segments of the Southeastern and Judson market
  • Proactively research and build relationships with potential partners
  • Monitor and report on advertising performance to evaluate the effectiveness of all print and digital advertisements
  • Meet regularly with Admissions' and Financial and Alumni Development'steams to collaborate, communicate, and equip them with updated marketing information and materials
  • Coordinate marketing related specifically to Judson College, serving as a liaison to the Dean of Judson College and Dual Enrollment offices
  • Stay informed and in touch with the current student experience and perception by hosting focus groups and coordinating student surveys
  • Assist in overseeing the Southeastern and Judson College marketing budget.
  • Assist the director as assigned

III. OTHER DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES
  • Occasionally accompany the Admissions staff to recruiting opportunities, especially locally

VIII. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Normal fitness as required for office duties

IX. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT (i.e., necessary travel, unusual work hours, unusual environmental conditions, etc.)
  • Flexible to work outside of normal working hours during event-heavy weeks such graduation, preview days, and the biannual meeting of the Southeastern Society and Board of Trustees
  • Possible travel as a representative of the Office of Marketing and Communications at various conferences and meetings (e.g., SBC Annual Meeting, NC Baptist Annual Meeting, etc.)
