Semiconductor Technician Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking a hands-on Semiconductor Equipment Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing equipment within a semiconductor production environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and supporting efficient production operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, working with complex systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and process-related equipment issues.
• Support equipment calibration, repairs, and process improvements to maintain operational efficiency.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to support production goals.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards.

• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, cleanroom, or production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or vacuum systems.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Experience performing maintenance and repair on automated or industrial equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with process equipment, automation systems, or precision manufacturing tools.
• Experience troubleshooting both legacy and newly installed equipment.
• Knowledge of quality systems, validation processes, continuous improvement initiatives, or regulatory requirements.
• Associate degree, technical certification, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.

• Full-time onsite position located in the Tracy, California area.
• Monday through Friday schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA.

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.40/hr.
