Full-time

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

  • Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and design reviews to customers.

  • Support customer evaluations by assisting with product selection, performance analysis, and implementation.

Job description

Elevate Semiconductor is looking for an engineer who enjoys working with customers just as much as working with technology.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Applications Engineer, Product Engineer, Sales Engineer, or other customer-facing semiconductor engineer who wants to take on greater ownership of the technical sales process. You will work directly with customers while partnering closely with our Sales, Applications, Product, and Design Engineering teams to understand technical challenges, recommend solutions, and help drive design wins.

You do not need to come from a traditional sales background. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in analog or mixed-signal semiconductors who can communicate effectively with customers and translate complex technical capabilities into practical solutions and business value.

Following Elevate Semiconductor's acquisition by Diodes Incorporated, this is an exciting time to join our team as we expand our resources, customer reach, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical partner to customers throughout the sales process
  • Work with Sales to understand customer requirements and identify the right technical solutions
  • Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, design reviews, and customer discussions
  • Support product evaluations, implementation, and technical problem solving
  • Partner with Applications, Product, and Design Engineering to answer customer questions and drive design wins
  • Gather customer and market feedback that can help influence future products
  • Support new product introductions, customer training, and technical collateral
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and industry events approximately 25% to 40%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Applications Engineering, Sales Engineering, Product Engineering, Design Engineering, or a similar technical role
  • Understanding of analog, mixed-signal, or related semiconductor products
  • Experience working directly with customers or a strong interest in moving into a customer-facing role
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business audiences
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills

Preferences

  • Experience with ATE or semiconductor test, precision analog ICs, DACs, PMICs, interface ICs, laboratory equipment, MATLAB, Python, or new product introductions is a plus, but we do not expect candidates to have experience in every area.
  • MBA or additional business education

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $180,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education, location, and business needs.

In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. This salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
