UCT is looking for a talented Customer Service Rep to join us in Austin, TX!

The Customer Service Representative delivers exceptional customer support and inside sales service to strategic accounts, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and driving order fulfillment. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, supporting quoting, order tracking, and production coordination to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, samples, technical support, and order status.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and issue resolution.
  • Follow established procedures to generate accurate and profitable quotes and sample responses.
  • Proactively follow up on business opportunities and provide weekly status updates.
  • Collaborate with Sales and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotes, orders, and customer interactions.
  • Support achievement of monthly and quarterly booking goals through order closure.
  • Attend production meetings and provide customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor and drive orders through production to ensure on-time delivery (OTD).

Knowledge, Skills, Experience 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in team environments.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance.

Education, Certifications, Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Experience as an Inside Sales Representative.
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
